Body Database

We are building a database of 3D scans of our bodies and we invite you to help us. Scans are done using the depth sensor on modern iPhones (12 Pro and above).

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I access the content?

    When you provide scans we will create an account in our system that allows you access to other scans up to the level of scan you provided. If you only opt to scan your hands and feet, you will only be allowed to view other scans of hands and feet.

  • What should I wear?

    Scans should be free of clothing. If you are not comfortable you can always opt to scan only areas you are comfortable with like your hands and feet.

  • Am I too old, big, short, etc...

    Absolutely not. This is a collection of REAL people and we need all types. You may be too young, however as we are only scanning people 18 years and older.

  • Can my scan be anonymous?

    Yes! If you would like your scans to be anonymous you should opt out of scanning your face or other areas of your body with identifying tattoos.

  • Can I share my scans with my friends?

    You can access a private URL from your account page that will allow you to share your scans with anyone you share the link with.

  • Can I have my scans removed?

    At any time you can request your scans to be made private or deleted completely. You can do so through your account page, or by emailing us. If you do this, your access to the site will be turned off as well.
